Pat's Bar

Has anybody been to Pat's Bar on Howard Blvd? I have never been there but I have some friends visiting from out of state and I am wondering if I should take them there for a few drinks and some fun.

Oh man, that is the last of the "old time dives" Last time I was in there the only kind of wine you could get was "GASP" out of a box....blech

Try McKenna's on Espanong, Chaplins on Espanong or got OTB ( over the bridge) to Gatwyn's. Both McKenna's & Gatwyns have food....Chaplins usually has entertainment on Weds nights....1 man solo but he's good if they still have it
McKenna's has a pool table as does Gatwyns

I have been to Gatwyns for office luncheons and stuff. I would agree the food was pretty good. From what I remember they serve huge salad portions in these giant bowls. Along with the pool tables they also have darts and a jukebox.

I think I have been to Chaplins on Espanong road. I went there once for a snack and beer. I remember the food being just ok.

I have never been to McKenna's. I will have to check it out next time I am down that way.
